We first went to the People’s Park in the Sky. Entrance Fee was P30 a person. From the gate there are Jeeps which can take you up to the Palace. Fare is P40 regardless of how many you are. It is a very quick ride, probaly just 2-3 minutes.

The Palace in the Sky doesnt offer anything really except a stunning view of the surrounding area. There is a restaurant, souvenir shops and snack shops in the Park.

By the Way, when you get to the Park. Outside the gates at the Parking lot. A lot of individuals will approach you, offering tours to Taal Volcano.

After The Park we proceeded to the Church of Ina ng Laging Saklolo. A nice, not so old church near the DAP.

After the Church we went to Good Shepherd to buy Ube Jam, Suman and Sampaloc. There are a lot of other places where you can buy Pasalubong but we prefer to buy here as the prices are not as high as in other stores. Though a lot of people have saying that the UBE of Rowena’s is BETTER than the Good Shepherd UBE.

Ilog Maria in Silang was our next stop. We purchased soaps, probiotic and the main reason why i went there, for their Bees Wax Wood Polish (the best for wood!) their leather balsam is also very good, actually in my opinion the best for leather. You can order their goods online if you do not want to go to Tagaytay. Their website is www.ilogmaria.com

After Ilog Maria we went to Teresa’s for lunch. We ordered Bulalo and Crispy Tawilis. The food was just average. We used to frequent Teresa’s years ago and it was better then. Competition from the restaurants at the ridge probably ate up into their customer base and their food quality as well.

We dropped by at Gourmet’s before going to the Pink Sister’s.
