Beef Misono and Potato Balls of Tokyo-Tokyo

Tokyo-Tokyo’s Beef Misono and Potato Balls has always been my favorite food at Tokyo-Tokyo. When i was sick with a terrible flu last year, i ordered beef misono and potato balls.

I never get tired of the beef misono. Tender strips of beef dipped in soysauce then buttered vegetables on the side then partnered with their potato balls dipped in mayonnaise with egg bits.

Tokyo-Tokyo (Located Nationwide)

Tokyo-Tokyo never fails to make my tummy happy. Everytime we eat at Tokyo-Tokyo i always, as in always, order their Beef Misono.

I usually order the Sumo Meal. Beef Misono with Tonkatsu all the time. Plus their Potato Balls which has forever been a favorite of mine.

Tokyo-Tokyo is located everywhere.

Singlish Cafe’s Char Kway Teoh: Best in Town

I am not a fan of Pancit. More so of the thick noodle variety. But Singlish Cafe’s Char Kway Teow is an exception.

I really enjoyed their Char Kway Teow yesterday that the plate was wiped out. It was really delicious and will definitely go back again.

Singlish Cafe is located in Concepcion Dos. Near the Gate of Rancho Estate.

Philippine Brand Mango Chocolate

This Chocolate Mango is delicious but the mangoes they use are not of high quality. There are a lot of threads present and this takes out the fun in eating. There was also an instance wherein the thread was to thick.

It is good for Pasalubong though as it is affordable.

Cafe Juanita (Kapitolyo Pasig)

The last time i ate here was Ages ago. They were still located at their old location. This time we just ordered take out.

I was eager to sample their Kare Kare again which i really enjoyed.

The Kare Kare of Juanita has gotten good reviews. It is good though, but somehow it isn’t the same like before. The bagoong has changed, before it was a super fine type of bagoong.

The Cat Fish salad was good but not outstanding.

The ginger chicken was average. No reason for it to be ordered again.

The Leche Flan was a winner though. Deliciously creamy and just the right amount of sweetness.

Has Cafe Juanita’s food quality changed with their Expansion? Judging with the Kare Kare it probably has. Though dining in maybe a different matter.

Wel & Vic Kan-Anan (Lapu Lapu City, Cebu)

Located along the main road in a simple structure this Kan-Anan has become a favorite of ours. Their food here is CHEAP and Delicious. I like their pork-chop here, just sinfully delicious. Their grilled fish and fish soup are also worth ordering. A lot of people eat here from students, workers to Well to do looking Individuals.

Located along ML Quezon Avenue . Near General Milling Corp.

Waterfront Airport Hotel Mactan Cebu

The last time i stayed here was Ages ago, more like 15-16 years ago. I decided that we should stay here on our last day in Cebu because of its proximity to the Airport. The Airport is just in front! No need to worry about being late or waking up early.

I got our room here via Agoda. I was surprised at how cheap the Executive Suite was priced! It was just 4k, just the same price for a regular room plus it came with breakfast too.

Check In: fast and efficient. They didn’t have anybody bring our bags to the room though, anyway we just had backpacks so probably why.

Room: there is nothing i can say bad about the room. It is huge and comfortable. A huge Sala with dining room, small kitchen. Toilet at the entrance . Big bedroom with big bed and a huge bathroom with shower and separate tub. The only thing i didnt like is that they do not have Bidet’s.

Breakfast: it was good with enough choices. I particularly liked their adobo.

Check Out: fast and efficient as well.

Overall: value for money makes this hotel a standout.

King ‘s Ready to Eat Pork Tapa

If there is a list of Not To Buy Pasalubong items, this product will be in that list.

I just opened the pack i bought in Cebu and the taste was really not appetizing. I did not finish eating the portion i got as it really tasted funny and smelled funny. I checked the expiration and it was not expired.

It tastes so different from the one i buy at Eng Bee Tin.

Cebu’s Finest Mango Caramel by Audrey’s Bakeshop: Sinfully Delicious

Salted Caramel seems to be the “In” thing now and dried mangoes have joined in also.

I bought a box of Cebu’s Finest Mango Caramel at Island’s Souvenirs during my Cebu Trip and just recently got to taste it. I regret not having bought more.

The Box looks deceiving as the box is quite big and when you open it you will find just a few wrapped pieces of the mango caramel.

The Mango Caramel is sinfully delicious! Every bite is heavenly. The mangoes they used are of the finest quality. The mango is not like other dried mangoes where there are threads.

Next time i go to Cebu, this will definitely be in my list of to Buy Pasalubong!!

Mango Caramel can be purchased at Island Souvenirs branches in Cebu. It is also sold at island’s souvenirs Naia 3 branches.
