The last time we went to San Fernando Halo Halo de Iloko was still closed. It was still too early when we arrived and they wont be opening yet. So i never got to know what the fuss all about Halo Halo de Iloko is.
This afternoon (1/12/16) i finally got to eat at Halo-Halo de Iloko. The place looks like they have expanded to include other areas of the house. A look at the Menu and you will notice that they dont just sell Halo-Halo. There were so many choices that i had a hard time choosing.
We ordered the following:
1. Buko Halo Halo (185.00) – loaded with ingredients. Very tasty. Ordered extra yema for 25 pesos.
2. Tokwa’t Baboy – did not like this. The vinegar used is the ilokos vinegar which i do not like paired with Tokwa’t babit. Ut did not have onions too.
3. Pancit Bihon – Very Tasty. Must order.
4. Native Cheeseburger – liked this a lot. A Must Order.
Overall it was a satisfying merienda (snack). Must return to try their other fare.
Halo Halo De Iloko is located along Zandueta Street. 500 meters away from the Church.
