The flight was pleasant. Service was exceptional. My food choice meanwhile was not something to crow about. The Prawns were not good. Just ate the Salad and the Mango with Thai Sticky Rice.

The Flight was using the Airbus A330 so the Seats were newer compared to the Singapore to Bangkok flight which used the Boeing 777-200.

The Plane going to Bangkok which was used obviously is in need of upgrading. From the Business Class seats it is evident that Wear and Tear has taken its toll. the seams of the seats looks like they fixing. The screen for this flight is the small screen compared to the 15.4 Inch LCD used in other Business Class Flights. Seats are in Leather and can be changed to a Flat Bed with a push of a knob.

It was a pleasant flight served by very efficient Singapore Airlines Flight attendants.

Meal: After a few minutes when the seat belt sign was taken off they commenced with the serving of breakfast. Business Class passengers were asked from the menu what they would like to eat, i chose the Belgian Waffles.

Breakfast Started with fresh fruits. The melon they served was just Super Sweet! After the fruits, bread was served. Next was a choice of cereal or yoghurt. And finally the main course.

Our flight to Manila was delayed. It took such a long time for SIA to load the passengers. It was a full flight. Krisworld at this flight as there were just less than 20 channels to choose from.

I had the omelette for brunch. The other choice was the fish with rice.

Mushroom Omelette with Bacon and Ham, grilled tomato and gratin potatoes.

Ice Cream Bar for dessert

But overall, it was a pleasant flight.

Every Airplane ride can be considered an experience but moreso if you take a first class airline like Singapore Airlines.

After a few minutes of take off we were given hot towellettes for freshening up. And afterwards, your choice of juice. The steward also gave out menu booklets so we would know what they will be serving for breakfast. Headsets were also provided.

I had a hard time what movie to choose as there was over a hundred to choose from. I ended up with Robert Downey’s Sherlock Holmes.

For breakfast there were 2 choices, first was corned beef hash with garlic rice and egg and the other one scrambled egg with chopped herb, grilled chicken sausage, sauteed mushrooms and hash brown potatoes. Plus bread and drinks of your choice.

I wasn’t able to finish the movie and they already announced that it will be landing soon!

Hiccup at SIA Check In and Lounging at the Lounge

We had a Hiccup at Check In at the SIA Counter. The Photocopy of the CC my sister used in purchasing my ticket to Singapore was not accepted. They want the actual credit card (huwat?) which is impossible as my sister is already in Singapore (she changed her sched and went 4 days eralier than us). Anyway, after some explaining, confirming with their manager, they finally agreed that I just present an alternate Credit Card (my credit card). They swiped my Card for $237 but it will not be processed until the CC Holder who bought the ticket denies the purchase.

So word of advice to those who will be buying tickets for others, do not buy tickets for other people unless you will be on the same flight as them. Or if you really want to buy a ticket for them be prepared to part with your credit card for the duration of their trip.

Btw, check in at the regular counters was super long.Good thing I did an Internet Check In. Nobody was at the Internet Check In.

Right now,I am in the Miascor Lounger waiting for Boarding. Good thing I have a Diners Club Card, and this gave me access to the Lounge. They have unlimited drinks here, plus Rice and Adobo and other light snacks.
