Where to Eat in Singapore

Tim Ho Wan (Aperia Mall Branch, Kallang Avenue, Singapore)

The other day (October 31,2015) we went to Tim Ho Wan at Aperia Mall for lunch. The Restaurant was full but there was a Table still available for us. We ordered the following:

image

    1. Pork Dumpling with Shrimp SGD5.50

image

    1. Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce SGD4.50

image

    1. Beancurd with Pork and Shrimp SGD5.00

image

    1. Chicken Rice with Mushroom and Sausage SGD6.00

  1. Cold Water SGD .60

The Quality of the food is identical to the Philippine Branches. I dont know if it is the same like in Hong Kong though. I liked the Pork Ribs the best. The Chicken Rice was good but will prefer the one sold at Le Ching (In the Philippines) over theirs. Quality of service is excellent.

Tim Ho Wan has 5 Branches in Singapore. the one we went to is located inside Aperia Mall, Kallang Avenue. Nearest MRT is EW11 Lavender.

Balestier Market (Balestier Road, Singapore)

The Balestier Market is a Hawker Centre located along Balestier Road. It is near Days Hotel, Ramada, Ibis hotel.

There are no MRT’s near it but There are buses which go there.

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks (Novena Square 2, Singapore)

My favorite snack whenever i am in Singapore. I always order the XXL Crispy Chicken $4.20 and ask it to be made spicier.

They have other branches in Singapore but the branch i go to always is the Novena Square 2 branch.

Ion Orchard’s Food Opera (Orchard Road, Singapore)

A Great Place to eat Great Food when in Orchard Road is at the Ion Orchard’s Food Opera. You have a wide range of choices to choose from at great prices. The Food Opera has elegant interiors. Getting a Table is a bit hard though during peak Lunch Hours. They also have dimsum carts here where you can get your Dimsum. Aside from the dimsum cart there is also a beverage cart.

Toast Box (Singapore)

Toast Box can be found all over Singapore. They usually have a branch in every Mall. They serve delicious Kaya Toast and Soft Boiled Egg Here (I think Soft Boiled Egg tastes the same everywhere!! haha). Aside from Kaya Toast and Soft Boiled Egg they also have other food items. Their Chicken Curry is a MUST TRY!! Delicious and Better than my Nanay’s according to my Nephew.

Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice (Singapore)

Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice was founded in 1953. It is located at Balestier Road. It serves one of the best Chicken Rice i have ever tasted in Singapore. This is a must try Restaurant.
