My Review:
Pinakbet – I have doubts as to why Vicentico’s Pinakbet was voted as one of the best Pinakbet in the Country. And they claim that this is one of the dishes that made them famous. I cannot give any complements to this dish. Sad to say i cannot find anything good to say about it.
Sizzling Bulalo – Above average taste. Though the meat was very tender. A Bit Expensive.
Lumpiang Sariwa – did not get to taste this so i cannot say if it was good or bad.
Sisig – at P200 this is one very expensive sisig. It was a bit burnt and definitely does not deserve anymore to be called as the best sisig i have ever tasted.
Buko with Caramel – a very delicious and refreshing drink. The caramel gave it a special twist.
Special Halo Halo – when we first ate at Vicentico’s i put this halo halo on the top of my list. But this time it is on the bottom. The Halo Halo was so sweet that we didnt bother finishing it. A Major disappointment, the neighborhood halo halo tastes better than this.
The Food at Hapag Vicentico’s has changed since the first time I went here in 2010. The food changed when i went again in 2011. And sad to say, the food has not been on the same level as it was when i first ate in 2010 (Read my Blog Post About Hapag Vicentico’s) The first time we ate at Hapag Vicentico’s we were so satisfied with the food that driving all the way to Cabanatuan just to taste their food was worth it but now it has changed. I hope the Owners of Hapag Vicentico’s will taste their food and see for themselves.
